Y'know Lawrence ;
For a while we could buy B20 Diesel at the pump , I always thought I should run a few tank full as I'm told it'll loosen up all the crud and dirt in the entire fuel system and that'd be a good thing in my car

I try not to run bio diesel. The alcohol in it attacks all your seals. It is also a very good cleaner. As you might know cleaning the pipes is good but many a person has had a stroke from these medicines. If you run bio diesel be prepared to change a lot of filters and quickly as it will clean all the goo from the insides of your tank. I cold filter my veg oil in blue jeans. I can't tell you how many busy people use heat to quicken the process. It also lets through stuff you don't want in your system through. Cold filtered like the beer. Don't use bio diesel unless it is a new vehicle. The bio diesel also attacks the old seals in older Mercedes. It's OK once in a while but a steady diet will turn your seals to goo. However once in a while in my opinion will swell them and rejuvenate the seals. Lawrence Rhodes...
