Charge it @ 2 Amperes for 12 hours then you're good to go .
ALWAYS charge batteries at the lowest possible setting , they take a better , deeper charge and ti lower charge rate doesn't beat up and wear out your battery .
HUCO was the brand i had low voltage issues with .

There were no brushes on it, and only one spring. I did find one tiny brush bit inside the case of the alt. I am sure this is the reason my battery wasn't charging lol, but I really will not know until I charge the battery up so I can start the car. I have a 6/2 amp charger that does not shut off automatically. How long should I put it on for? Or should I have AAA jump start it, and I could drive in to town and see my Dad? (25-30 miles)
