RE: [diesel_mercedes] Front end noise

Did you have the front end professionally aligned? Usual they would try to sell you new wheel ball joints if they saw a torn boot.

Worn wheel ball joints can make a noise; they can also cause pulling. They can cause lots of problems.

Driveline U-joints can make noise you’d hear at low speed, and vibration at a certain road speed.

Subject: [diesel_mercedes] Front end noise

Well since you didn't kick me out for having a 77 280SE gasser, I was wondering if I could get your thoughts on this.

I have front end noise when accelerating, decelerating or driving at app. 10-15 mph.

I change the tie rods my self, the alignment is adjusted but car pull to the right.  Ball joint boot is ripped.

It just started about an hour ago and has me a little concerned.

Thanks so much!

Mike
