Re: [diesel_mercedes] Bleeding Brakes And Clutches

Arizona has the masters for around $100, do  these seem OK to you? That other place Brain posted was around $300.
PS I'm getting very nervous, I posted a ad on For Sale By Owner .com thinking it would take years to sell my place and we've had a steady stream of people come tru here . Several from Cali tired of hot and too many people. Yikes. Max

An inexpensive pressure bleeder will make it dead easy to bleed hydraulic brakes and clutches , less costly than having the garage do it one time and you should flush and bleed these systems every two of three years in any case for safety's sake as well as preventing wear and failures .

Often a mushy hydraulic clutch can be firmed up by leaving the clutch pedal depressed 1/4" past the initial resistance .

If the fluid in any hydraulic system is black , it needs to be flushed and bled A.S.A.P. .

Last time I drove my 240 brakes went mushy, then came back. I better remember when Ican start driving again this fall to replace the master. I've heard with a clutch it can be a bitch to bleed. Max
