Most here know our '82 240D has well over 300,000 hard miles and low compression in one cylinder , this causes a miss @ idle so it shakes and chugs a fair bit .
Recently I ran out of Power Service's wonderful Cetane Boost for two tankfuls and the chugging and shaking was bothersome , as well as the fuel economy dropped to the low 20's .
After filling it up and adding 3 Oz. of Cetane Boost , it now runs perfectly smooth again , it's smply amazing how much this stuff helps .
@ only 3 Oz. per fillup , remembering I only fil it when the gauge reaches below the 1/4 mark , I feel this is veru co$t effective as it also raises up the fuel mileage .
