On reusing the pistons, I'm not sure on the MBs, yet I had a '70
Kawasaki H1 500 (triple) that would wear in the cylinders after racing
around for a few years, or if the oil injector pump went out. I found it
was cheaper to find used barrels and have them bored, then get the next
sized pistons, as I had already bought the 1 size up pistons, and they
seemed fine. The center cylinder was especially prone to getting worn
out, so it was replaced a few more times then the outer ones.
