It was prolly just a vacuum issue ~ so far the precise adjustment procedure has eluded me but with a $5.00 vacuum gauge and some patience you can cure 90 % of those pesky " flares " on the up shifts .
Me , I stop fiddling as soon as the flaring stops , I don't mind a firm to harsh up shift .
