I have no intention of bidding..just "window" shopping. *sigh*. :) I'd never drive that far for a car...plenty of them in good ole dry TX. I know now more of what to look for too. I would never go more than an hour or so.

Older 'Benz were gassers when there was an " E " on the deck lid .
Now , it's a whole body class...
I look at the slimy dashboard and wonder what other tricks the seller has been up to .
As a Mechanic who knows better , I have bought several vehicles off Flea-Bay , mostly at scrap price and _EVERY_TIME_ I got rooked .
Of course , I like having junkers I can practice my trade on but it gets very $peny very fast so DO NOT bid on a car you've not looked at IN PERSON and put p on a hoist as TEXAS is _loaded_ with pretty looking flood cars that'll fall apart no matter what you do , in a year or two .
Your current Mercedes is a far better car than this one .
