[diesel_mercedes] Re: 300 TD water in the left rear light housing.

Yep ;

There's plastic squeeze clips , they're easy to snap off too .

Once it's apart , don't be surprised to find the bulb holders are melted from DPO's putting in the wrong taillight bulbs , brighter illuminatio means MUCH more heat & there's no where for the heat to go so they melt .

Use tissue paper and maybe a long soft brush to clean out the lens via the bulb hole once you've ruined , er _removed_ the bulb holder ~ take the entire lens to the Kitchen sink and have at it , really wash it out well then shake dry and allow to air dry with the open bulb holes facing _down_ so the water gets out fast as possible .

I use # 631 bulbs as they last longer and do not overheat the fragile bulb holders .

Clean the body's recessed lip and then use clear silicone to seal the edge of the lamp to the body as the gasket is dried up and costs an arm & a leg from Mercedes .
