I took it out to the car and realized I had the wrong one for my model/year...but I did find a match with more searching...I think on the benzworld.org forums (no direct link avail, but plenty of search results) ... for the 1983 300SD (I found 82's and 84's posted...both the same, so I figure 83 is also the same)
Looks like I had (and then replicated) one fuse that had the incorrect amp installed, so I'll change that today.
Still chasing my gremlin...
