Solution: When the mechanic put the new starter & solenoid in, he took out the dip stick holder so he had more room to wiggle. He never got it back in properly so it did not seat. While driving, there was no fluid leak. When the car was stopped with engine off, a quart or two would leak from the poorly seated dip stick holder. Cost to fix - $-0- because smoke was coming from my nostrils.
