Don't know the charge rate yet on the regulator yet. But, was wondering who sells the carbon brushes? Seems like we used to change these out rather than buy a whole regulator. Easier and cheaper to carry carbon sticks in the car than regulators. Am packing today for a family reunion in Las Vegas. I got the regulator as a backup and will look at it when I get back. More immediate issue is half shaft CV's on Mary. Got some strange noises back there on the #210 Sunday. Crawled under and after 200K, it looks like I will replace them before taking off cross country.

So Brian ;
What's the charging rate /
Wally-Mart or O'Rielly has the nifty indicators you plug into the cigarette lighter hole , they'll give you alternator output and state of battery charge .

Brand identification is somewhat meaningless today. Jobs are shopped around the world and mfgrs. get blueprints or specs and they build to the specs. It's like baseball parks - highest bidder can have a ballpark named for them, except for the Dodgers, no one wants to be named "Divorce Court."
