I'd say 30 ish is on average, the best for these cars. Yeah, I've gotten up
to 34, in perfect conditions with my SDL.
And, it's interesting, when people are checking mileage:
some, fill the tank to the top, when starting, and, just till it "clicks
off" when refilling. then check the mileage.
Air trapped in the tank can make a difference, at times, too.
I do note my SDL gets better mileage below 70 than above, with the best I've
done (except for the 34 mpg day) at around 62 mph.
The 34 mpg day was across AZ, on a perfect cool spring day, windows up, no
A/C, and a prevailing, fairly strong tail wind.
so, other than a "best" for me, not a usable figure.
But, I've often gotten 29-32 going up and down I-5, or to SLC.
