Nice car. My buddy's mom had the slant 6 version. I wouldn't be surprised if it was still running around. My advice about eBay is to be wary of shipping schemes, and third-party money holders. I was looking at a chevelle last December and the seller insisted on some complex & convoluted deal. Bona fide buyers won't jerk you around, they'll readily identify themselves and pay cash.
good luck ps.. thanks to the poster of the link to the MB manual. --- On Thu, 2/10/11, Mark in Lakewood CO <beeser750@q.com> wrote:

Hey folks, I'm selling the second of the "Stay-Around-Brown" cars from my fleet. Just wanted to share, though any of you are certainly free to bid: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Plymouth-Valiant-Sedan-318-V8-4-Speed-SEDAN-Very-Good-Condition-and-RARE-/170601388382?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item27b8a2995e (The first brown car I've sold was my '77 300D, now 3-years ago. The last will be a '49 Dodge B100 Panel Truck, though I hope to return it to it's original navy blue before selling it.) Also, as this is my first sale of ANYTHING on eBay, I'm open to any tips and warnings on the experience. Thanks! Mark in Lakewood, CO
