Remember to drain the final drive first then allow it to drip along while, once you have it open you'll need to mop out all the remaining gear oil and after the new (rebuilt) axles are in you need to clean the sealing surfaces with brake cleaner (I use starting fluid) then coat with gaskachinch just before you install the cover ~ there's no gasket so cleanliness is critical here .
Don't forget to add a Harbor Freight rare earth disc magnet to the inside of the drain and fill plugs ! .
