Re: [diesel_mercedes] Garret T3 Wastgate / Boost adjust ? .

It's done just as it says, turn the nut. I just adjusted mine a few turns, years ago, without checking the boost level.

At the time the Turbo was caked up and need of a rebuild anyway, so I just wanted a bit more boost.

When I'm done with other things, I'll attach a boost gauge and play with my wastegate valve some more.

I noticed that my wastegate hose was leaking recently, and I had more boost. Some folks put bleeders on the hose, to get more boost without opening the wastegate valve.

O.K., I've spent a few _hours_ searching and never saw a DIY for how to do this, I know the basic nuts and bolts but want to read how someone has done it, hopefully on the car and with pictures, maybe even tips.....
