Last night I nearly ran my engine out of oil thinking all the droplets on the rear bumper and cove were spitting out the exhaust.....
It seems the entire left rear lower side of the engine is wet with leaked out oil, took me three quarts to get it showing on the oil dip stick.
On a more positive note, I serviced three BOSCH HVAC motors yesterday, new brushes and took the armatures out so i could clean them properly and oil the bearing under the fan wheel .
I also took the front shaft seals off two spare power steering pumps, (both Z-F brand pumps) and have new seals on order .
I wasn't able to pry the seals out and so used another method I'll show when I write an after report .
Now, the sun is up so it's time to go jack up and block the car, change into an old pair of coveralls and get filthy finding the leak and fixing it ...
Maybe a haircut this afternoon
