Visions of planting, fixing the cars, and doing some landscaping are upon us. That is what two days of sunshine will do. Today I will roar out to get a new battery for Martha as the 25-35F mornings killed the old one. In so.cal. I had one last for 7 years, guess that won't happen up here. Then I'll do oil changes for both, diesel purge on Martha, new door check (rear driver) on Mary, unclog the window washer on Mary, and begin to play with the vacuum lines on Mary because the mechanic who installed the engine was clueless (good for lifting, lousy for fine tuning). Then, the two large ticket items for 2018 will start to unfold: Suspension and shocks for Mary, and replace the rear end on Martha with parts from donor Jane Doe. Sometime in the summer I will evaluate the fate of Sylvia (formerly owned by Barton in this group, and now sitting in my daughters back yard in Columbus with a blown engine, but a brand new vacuum pump).
There, that should keep me busy for a while.
