My power is close to maxed out now, I'm hoping as it settles in (less than 1,000 miles on rebuilt engine yet) the fuel mileage will go up, it certainly should .
I do religious fuel mileage checks and before the engine got really bad it almost always exceeded 30MPG no matter what .
Top was 36 MPG one trip from Vegas to L.A., fully loaded, I never lug nor over speed any engine .

I have checked the 4spd, a lot, the best I ever got was around 38 mpg, but normal fast freeway driving in excess of 70 mph was around 29 mpg. I'm betting the rear end from the auto would increase that. Max
