I split a disc brake unit apart years ago. Don't remember what it was off of. No gasket . The passageway between the two halves had a small O-ring.
I will guess I got a replacement O-ring at FLAPS. They had two boards of them behind the counter; you pick. They had fuel resistant and other.

Hey Nate, is there any reason to not split these calipers? They are really hard to get into the bore to clean. As long as there is no o-rings or a gasket , it sure looks easy to break them in half for cleaning. What do you think? I am really tired of summer. Hot, hot and then hotter. Haven't been able to see for weeks due to smoke, smells like a campfire 24/7. Uck. Max
