I drove tru Tri Cities Washington on Monday. I saw a most beautiful 240 , light blue, looked brand new. Driving behind the car I had to shut off my out side air, stinky. I guess paying me back for all the folks that drove behind my stinky diesel cars over the years. I was driving my 2006 Outback. Max

K100 used, 372 miles, 19 MPG (!) .
It's running well, still smoking off and on , I don't know why the mileage has dropped so precipitously .
I have a set of overhauled and matched (within 5#) fuel injectors headed my way right now, I guess it's time to do a compression test and install them , see if it helps .
Next step after that is : replace the injection pump, I found some rust inside it .
