SWMBO tells me we're jumping in the '82 240D and heading off to Indio, Ca. to - morrow for some Adult R & R .
I've not yet properly washed nor serviced it from the last trip but I did chuck a couple quarts of fresh oil in the trunk so i guess to - morrow morning I'll check the tires, top up the fuel tank , check under the hood and off we'll go =8-) .
It's 2,000 miles past oil & filter service time , has a bad valve and 357,000 + miles on it ~ what could possibly go wrong ? .
