Re: [diesel_mercedes] help

Make sure it's in "Park" or "Neutral".

The usual suspects in this case are: starter/starter solenoid, ignition/starter switch and neutral safety switch, or the wiring that connects it all together.

Subject: [diesel_mercedes] help

OK, after having my spare 240 with the auto for a long time and not driving it much and it never failed, well, its been failing. The latest thing is it wont start. When I turn the key nothing, zip, no click no nothing. I checked the voltage it seems fine. What do I do? I've had several starters go out and I get plenty of notice. Between getting  firewood, rototilling, lawn mowing, finishing my house, cleaning out my shop so I can finish my house, I dont have time for this, good thing its my #3 car, but I do like to keep it running. I really need to sell it. Any advice? Max
