Do you build furniture or what with the black oak ? .

I imagine a TD chassis (plenty of those dirt cheap !) would be the best basis for a Ute conversion .

yeah, black oak logs. I fell it a couple of weeks ago, part will be fire
wood, part will turn into lumber on my bandsaw mill.
