We're still getting hosed in California .
RUG is dripping fast , Diesel Fuel not so much
.Just to - day I had to fill up the 84/85 Euro. Spec. wagon , the first place in Arcadia was $3.05 , not too bad and the low fuel light had been on for some time , SWMBO will cut off my sex life if I were to run it out of fuel with four Teenagers on board...
Anyway , the pump was just 8berely* dribbling out the fuel , I held the nozzle wide open to no improvement , then after about 15 dang minutes it slowly stopped pumping at all no matter what ~ I asked the guy in the Office and he said " er , whut ? we have 21,000 gallons in the ground " so I gave up and motored off with 4.46 gallons
.Finished my errands and had a nice luncheon with SWMBO , the Foster boys and Tom , headed back to South Central Los Angeles where I found $2.85 / gallon and tanked it up ~ I must have really come close to walking as in total it took over 18 gallons .
