I didn't see any castellated nuts but I did see six 8 MM studs , those are used to attach the brake plate to the axle banjo housing .

A question about the 5th image, IMG_20151129_170935.

I see two (castellated) nuts, and there are probably two on the other side. What are they holding on?  Bill in Oregon
