I'm curious as to what route you took, the speed you drove and any modifications to the gear ratio. Also what kind of power does your 240 exhibit over hills. I've seen 240's tackle the Altamont pass on the 580 freeway at 65mph while mine barely did 50mph(300TD).of course I'm running veg oil. But not all cars are equal. I've had a number of diesels. The best was an 83 240 which nothing seemed to faze it. It would do 60 over the pass on Veg oil. Slightly better on diesel. Lawrence Rhodes
