I spent two days afternoons removing an Injection Pump from an 1985 W-126 300SD , I plan to try it in my '84 300CD as it still smokes and I've replaced everything else....
It'll prolly turn out the IP is mis - timed but I want to teach myself hor to properly time the IP anyway....
Suggestions or details on how to do it @ home gratefully accepted .
I read in the FSM I'm supposed to connect up an electric fuel transfer pump ? .
