Better yet, I’d take a battery out of another car and put it in there. Jumping across a questionable battery can give the same click click.

I know it’s a pain to swap batteries; I have a 1961.  Bill in Oregon

I'm curious too, how you know the battery is good.
I agree with others suggesting cleaning contacts etc, though how about a
jump, to see if that works.
Try the easy stuff first.
