When you say " but on hills it would dump then it started to dump on flats. Now it won't work " do you mean the C.C. would drop out as it was carrying you along ? .
If so , the CC box up under the dash board is almost certainly bad , try to find a cheap or free used one to test with then mail it off fo rebuilt exchange .
