I stopped to fill up SWMBO's '82 240D I have been driving whilst my Coupe is off the road , as always I checked the oil , ATF and so on ~ I was horrified to see the clear plastic primary fuel filter was dead black

It was clean the last time I filled up , I'm pretty sure I used this same Filling station , the only discount Diesel source I have found in Pasadena .
Dammit .
Now I have to go find my big bottle of Startron and begin dosing it
