Some folks just don't ' get ' it ~ .
you always know whom because they're in the gas station hood up and it looks like an oil geyser under there , slopping wet black oil glistening , when they pull away , they late shift every shift regardless of automatic or stick shift .
Then it's _always_ the cars fault .

I always thought older diesel engines =slower speeds more torque. My 240 auto has no tac, so I dont know, and you can wind it out if you keep your foot in it, but also you can make it shift at much slower speeds by letting up on throttle. No need to wind it up unless your pulling a long hill or racing the Geo. Max
