As I was leaving for lunch in my '84 Diesel Sports Coupe , a Cop who was unloading old ' Rovers ' stopped me and asked incredulously " is that thing a DIESEL ?! " .
I told him yes and looked at the odometer as they always ask ' how many miles ? ' next ~ 395,867 miles ! .
Wow, what happened ? .
