No , this is different ~ non turbo and pre 1981 model years cars use a radiator sans surge tank , the pressure cap is right on the radiator .
Me , I'd want to up grade to the surge tank setup but I think Lawrence isn't a Junk Yard Junkiie with the spare $ to do this .
No worries , Peach Parts has what he needs in stock as do all reputable M-B Partshaus' .

I am in San Diego . My Behr plastic & metal radiator is cracked. I am leaking and can't buy a radiator for my 1980 TD. Will something else fit in? I was told the non filler neck with a reservoir version will not fit. Can it be rebuilt? HELP. Lawrence R hodes
