The other day , Tom had the tranny in his SDL rebuilt as it had been leaking ATF worse & worse .
Victor left the old parts , gaskets etc. on the bench for me to look at and this Torrington bearing kinda jumped out at me .
It has worn so badly on one side the cage was broken and rollers had fallen out .
The up shifts were getting slurpy like and old GM car is .
Glad he had this fixed before we headed out Thursday for a 1,300 mile road trip ! .
Now it shifts very firmly indeed .
Victor replaced the drum seals too , not many tranny overhaulers do that as it's a delicate job , easy to screw up .
