I used the old graphite & oil routine for 3 or 4 years. Then something went haywire and I was finally forced to remove the door lock and soak it and clean it - life has never been the same since. That passenger lock has been amazingly easy to turn and twist. I think I put some photos up which are in the album Brian';s Door Lock Repair
