Possibly one injector is acting up? Fuel feed to that injector leans out with temperature, or the injector/tip running leaner as it heats up. Bill in

Subject: [diesel_mercedes] 1960 180Db surges when hot at idle. OM636 engine.
This has really got me puzzled. My OM636 surges at idle and gets worse as it gets hotter. Ive swapped a good used governor diaphragm on the pump but it made no difference. Any suggestions?
