Using the 2 second rule puts you well behind the truck. You could get closer and get more savings but that is dangerous. Once in a while a truck I was drafting hit 65 and that is the speed limit. Following the trucks only cost me about 7 to 10 minutes driving 100 miles. Going 65 to 70 I get closer to 20mpg. Lawrence Rhodes
