Look underneath the water pump , there's a small weep hole ~ if you see any corrosion or even one drop of coolant in or around it , replace it now whilst you have it apart for service .
The alloy part where the by pass hose is weeping , will need some serious hand wire brushing once you have the hose off .

Thanks Nate. I took it out and drove her hard and never broke 100C. I did find a seep in the expansion tank seem and a seep around the bypass hose by the thermostat. Am going to change all the hoses and tank. Scratching my head if I should change the water pump. Bud |
