 . . .  Assuming she does manage to stay repair free for the rest of the month, I plan to reward her with a rebuilt speedo/odometer - and if I get really lucky, figure out how to troubleshoot and repair/replace the faulty cruise control (CC). I've been scouring my copy of the MB service manual for the 300SD and cannot find any sections that deal with diagnosing and servicing the CC.
