Nate,

Yes, the Volvo did it's job against that GMC van, not letting it in the
passenger compartment.
Either one of the cops or firemen involved mentioned that it was good
that she was in the Volvo.

The driver's door was smashed shut, so they took my wife out the
passenger door on a board.

I'll try to make it to the tow yard today, and take some pics, as well
as pick up personal items.
I'll do a bit of research on car appraisals.
