Thanks I wish I knew that last year when I replace the alternator. I think the 12.3 might be due to the fact it sat for over 24 hours without being started maybe I don't know. Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android

Yes 12.3 might work but then your battery will be in a constant state of undercharge.  Your battery will last less long and when the cold weather comes watch out.  Replacing the voltage regulator is the least you can do.  Then if it can't put out replace the alternator.  I can get them from the warehouse for 89 dollars.
