[diesel_mercedes] RE: Blinky Brake Pad Light

Thanks for all the info, the light blinks a bit as we drive, and lights up solidly when I apply the service brakes. Will crawl underneath and take a look at the pads within a few days.

If I cannot find pads locally I can get someone to buy them in the US and bring them down, shipping into Mexico is a little bit iffy. Basically wanted to know if I could keep using the car down here.Max it is too warm here could you send a little snow (hehehe)

Correct :

The sub harness is bio degradable and once it begins to go , the light will blink randomly .

As long as it doesn't blink when you apply the service brake , the pads are O.K. .

My warning light has been "blinking" for months but when applying the
brakes it does not light up so I am thinking the pads are ok but a wire
is grounding.
