I got my AC working in my 80 240, finally. It's been working great for about 2 years now. Before that we replaced everything except the compressor and the AC would work  for the short summer then leak over the winter, then next summer a shot of AC juice and it would work. I finally replaced the compressor and now, wow, it works good. Max

Keep us posted as we all have A/C issues over time and can benefit from your experience. Every year I swear I will fix mine, but the So. Cal. weather is only hot hot for a couple of months, so I forget to take care of things.
