Because washing it when the paint is warm or hot to the touch , guarantees paint damage .
I awoke @ 04:30 this morning to 60° & dense fog , grabbed my paint brush and wheel cleaner , sprayed the cove and all four wheels to loosen up the wet diesel smoot and brake dust , worked it around a while with the paint brush then rigged out the hose and rinsed the car down , the diesel smoot on the cove and the brake dust on the wheels came right off then I grabbed a clean rag and quickly washed the rest of the car ~ the fog settles on the paint and floats most of the dirt off so it's easy to clean up quickly even in the middle of a heat wave....
I hate driving what appears to be an abandoned car .
