I've never trusted those thin gaily colored ones but one place I worked at , the owner was cheaper than I (and a far worse Mechanic) and he insisted I install those , I was amazed to see how well they stood up to long term abuse .
_My_ vehicles will get the All Weather Thunder Branded Super Macho Extra - Thik ones though thankyouverymuch =8-) .
Yes , of course whenever you arrive , give me a shout and I'll wind up the old nail and come to visit you ~ I'll drive the Metropolitan if you wish , it's a great long distance tourer if slow (ignore what Tom says about it) .
SWMBO and I stayed at the Hot Springs Motel directly across the road from where you were last time in Nevada , a whole bunch of crazy-a$$ MotorHeads were there with us , a nice basic place , the typ I like but *very* $pendy for what you get , the guy who shared the Hot Tub with our room looked too sketchy for SWMBO to go in after he'd soaked in it =8-^ .
Much whooping and hollering all night long made me pleased I'm deaf as a post , I passed out and slept right through all the noise & Motocycle madness that apparently pi$$ed off and kept awake , everyone else within 35 miles .
We ate a very nice dinner at the roadhouse just East , across from the gas station .
