My 300 TD is taking a long time to crank and start. I'm getting all glows to pop. Inferred temp sensor confirms heat. Battery voltage drops. Valve clearance good. After a minute of cranking intermittently it starts and idles fine. I'm thinking a check valve in the line before the lift pump should be a cheap fix. Don't want to ruin starter or battery. Comments?
