After watching the video, I don't think I have the stamina. Or, maybe mine is just not that bad yet.

I certainly don't! That's why my 81 300td is loosing it's trim - piece by piece. As it gets bad and starts to pull out/rust out/bend over/etc, I just pull it off and throw it away. But looks don't matter much to me. I'm in this for the boringly reliable-ness of these rigs. It's like the lady at the recycler once told me - "You use that thing like it was a truck.". That said, there is certainly no american truck that will run this well when/if it lives to be thirty+ years old.
