Yes ! .
Near S.D. is a place called Chula Vista and East of the I-5 Freeway are some mesas , on the top of them are a whole buncha junkyards icluding several P-A-P's ,two or three more on Energy Way an in Oceanside , off SR 178 (I think) is one more at the bottom of the first long downgrade on the right ~ it's a block back from the Highway but you'll see it as you descend , turn right at the stop light at the bottom of the grade , I always find good old Mercedes' in there .
WELCOME to Sunny Southern California ! .(leave the salt & rust @ home please)
Bring a small camera and sneak some photos .
Wherever you travel grab The Yellow Pages nd look under " Auto Wrecking Yards " ~ never waste time calling as NO JUNKYARD EVER KNOWS WHAT ALL THEY HAVE ~ just grab you grubbies (work clothes) and GO LOOK .
Happy hunting in the land of rust free junkers that shoulda been saved .
