Diesel RVs: [diesel_mercedes] Re: Need update on the floor wax !

I used it on my MB, it worked so well I did my 85 Dodge Ram Class B motor home, and even my 98 Neon that had good clear coat put not perfect clear coat.

The Ram does not get used in the winter, but the wax is great, the snow still slides right off the roof after a storm, even after 6 months. It would sit there with regular wax and I would have to go out there every so often and brush it off, not any more.

The MB has been dirvien all winter and water still beads unlike in the past with conventional wax where mid winter it would no longer bead.

The Neon scared me as the barkeepers friend put swirls in the clear, but once the waz was on, they dissapeard. It also has been driven through several NH winter storms, and still beads. If the paint on the neon was perfect, I would have skipped the barkeepers.

I found the Red Max pro at only one of the 5 lowes in the area for under 9 bucks (on sale)for the gallon last summer. I have done 3 vehicles so far and still have more than 3/4 a gallon left.

Simple to put on, no buffing off, ues it takes 5-6 coats to look good, but each coat takes 5-10 minutes, so over all about as much time as regular wax.
